    Position: Assistant Product Manager

    Job Grade: 14

    Reporting to: Group Product Manager

    Department:Marketing

    Division:EPD Commercial

    Location:Karachi

    Job Description:

    Assistant Product Manager will be responsible for managing strategically important portfolios & brands. The role is responsible for strategy development and effective execution of brand plans and marketing strategies to drive the performance of the assigned portfolio of products and deliver the business objectives in a compliant way as per affiliates' control frameworks and promotional policies.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Achieve top-line, volume, market share, and bottom-line targets for the brands assigned
    • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends and dynamics to ensure competitive positioning and make necessary recommendations (Pricing, Repositioning, Indication additions, NPIs, Line extensions)
    • Develop and implement an Annual Brand Plan for assigned brands and carry out changes to the plan if necessary, to ensure that KPIs are achieved
    • Ensure quality and timely delivery/execution of campaign collaterals including digital content
    • Initiate research as per the brand need (analyze customer behavior, perception-attribute mapping, etc.) and design strategies accordingly
    • Effectively collaborate and engage with the sales team and cross-functional stakeholders to create buy-in of strategies and ensure strong implementation of designed strategies

    Education/Knowledge & Experience:

    • Business Degree (Specialization in Marketing) or Pharm-D from a reputed University.
    • At least 2-3 years of relevant marketing experience in a Pharmaceutical company; Field Sales experience will be preferred
    • Exposure to ATL & BTL would be an added advantage
    • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • Good team player
