    The Opportunity

    Join our Rapid Innovation Consulting team in Pakistan as a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in driving our agile development processes and ensuring successful project delivery. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, providing guidance, coaching, and removing obstacles to enhance productivity and product quality.

    As a Multinational Member Firm in the EY network, Rapid Innovation, based in Pakistan, exclusively provides its services to MENA based EY Member Firms across the MENA region, excluding Pakistan. The work is executed remotely by working virtually with our MENA onshore teams and sometime may require travel to MENA EY offices.


    Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and self-organizing team environment by fostering open communication and teamwork.
  • Guide the team in adhering to Agile/Scrum principles and best practices, ensuring the timely completion of project milestones.
  • Identify and promptly address obstacles and impediments that hinder the team's progress, striving for efficient and uninterrupted workflow.
  • Support and contribute to product backlog management and refinement, assisting in the prioritization of user stories and tasks.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team by analyzing data, conducting retrospectives, and implementing actionable improvements.
  • Act as a servant leader, providing coaching and mentorship to team members on Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
  • Maintain transparency by diligently documenting project details and tracking progress throughout the development cycle.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks and dependencies, working collaboratively to mitigate potential issues.

    • To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software development or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of agile tools and project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
