About Noman Uddin:
I have a long career of inventory management with large textile and steel manufacturing industries in Pakistan and international exposure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for managing large scale of diversified categories of SKUs that has seen me conquer the roles in both managing the operational and technological utilization/advancement of the inventory management. I have had direct experience managing a large operational network at multiple sites/warehouses, as well as leading a large team of highly technical individuals that support the customer department with uninterrupted supply of inventory with accuracy
I have been in Management roles since 2015, predominantly in the development of strategic set up of the warehouse, implementing controlling/optimization tools of the stocks and track record of the stock utilization as per requirement/BOM. My experience has always skewed toward managing performance and strategic development

Management of Cotton and Fiber (Raw Material) warehouses of Spinning units with Raw Comber warehouse and Finished Goods of Fiber Bleaching segment that produce the surgical cotton for export
Responsible for over 150K bales stock comprise of imported/local cotton/fiber/wastes on about 700,000 square feet area in 5 warehouses and handle raw materials and finished goods of fiber bleaching segment of the organization
Schedule and plan local/import consignments with procurement/import associates to release the logistics resource from respective warehouse in efficient manner
Coordination with customer departments for the smooth flow of materials
Put effective control to reduce depletion of the material in the warehouses
Ensure the physical lot tracking system is effectively integrated with oracle system (EBS)
Identification of aging stocks with the stake-holders and drive its remedial through consumer department
Planning of finish goods export containers loading along with fiber bleaching and shipping department leads and ensure the timely departure of the containers for export
Ensure the accuracy of the finish goods for export are loaded according to the packing list
Deal with external inspection team (when required)
Implementation of cycle counts
Suggest technological/process improvement in the warehouse to the management

Develop production schedule with the production team and share the schedule with the customer accordingly
Coordinate with customer for the greige fabric arrival in the warehouse according to the schedule
Coordinate with the processing lead for the execution of the process as per the scheduling and allocation of processing resources to meet the delivery calendar
Keep track follow-up with the processing department till the lot/batch completes the processing cycle
Responsible for finished fabric warehouse and its quality checking team for over 250 tons of knitted fabric stock and forward the checking reports as per standard checklist to QA for further decision
Ensure effective application of lot tracking system till the completion of whole process of the fabric and deliver to the customer
Keep track record of the stock that is hold/reject by QA and does not meet the standards of customer and coordinate with processing for its re-working/processing
Coordination with processing for the visible wastage control
Direct the contractual logistics resources in effective manner for distribution operations
Reporting of complete lot status to the top management
Ensure the dispatching of processed OKAY fabric as per agreed delivery schedule to the customers and meet the target of approx. 40 tons dispatching per day
