    Job Type: Onsite/ Full Time

    Timings:

    09:00 am 06:00 pm

    Monday to Saturday

    Key Purpose:

    We are looking on behalf of our client for the position of Senior Tax Officer who will be responsible for managing tax related affairs for tender business team.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Prepare and file income and sales tax returns on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis in compliance with relevant tax laws.
    • Ensure all tax filings are accurate and submitted on time to avoid penalties.
    • Ensure all invoice records are up to date and comply with tax regulations.
    • Maintain the accuracy of ledger balances related to taxes in financial statements.
    • Ensure all tax-related entries in financial records are correct and up to date.
    • Ensure the timely payment of taxes to relevant authorities.
    • To assist the Taxation Manager in overseeing overall taxation matters for the tender business.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with external tax consultants auditors and regulatory authorities.

    Essential Qualifications:

    Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree from HEC recognized University/ Foreign University.

    Professional Experience: Minimum 03 of experience in a similar functional domain, preferably from tender business.

    Behavioral Skills and Competencies:

    The candidate must have the following qualities:

    • Proven experience in tax compliance, including income and sales tax filing.
    • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
    • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Note:

    1. Should be Karachi Resident or currently working in Karachi.
    2. Experience of the individual shouldn't be more than 07 Years.
    3. Preference will be given to the candidates who can join immediately.
