include tender preparation and technical bid evaluation. 

Providing Engineering support for Pipeline Transmission Projects including welding calculations, 
material selections, determination of required hydrostatic test pressures, MOP/MAOP calculations 
and other pressure control devices to ensure MOP/MAOP is not exceeded, evaluation of defects and 
repair methods.
 Coordinate with quality inspections teams and all the site sub-contractors / vendors to coordinate all 
non-destructive testing on site. 
 Manage destructive tests on site and in the laboratory to ensure conformity of material and works 
according to the design specifications.
 Check material and process of manufacturing of contractors as per bid requirements.
 Monitoring construction activities of transmission network, POD & Injection system projects which 
include Pipeline welding, HSS, coating, holiday, lowering, hydrostatic testing (as per Test Package) & 
Equipment erection (Valves, Filters, scrubbers, AFC).
 Conduct inspection of Pipelines, Compressor Station Piping, Valve Assemblies, Scrubbers and Filter 
Separators. Suggest repair recommendations and prepare procedure for repair and repair inspection 
plan.
 Responsible for preparing the inspection programs and executing them against budget and plan.
 Supervise maintenance work of static equipment and transmission network as per code & standard.
 Review of design drawings to summarize the material and NDT accordingly.
 Review of As-built drawings to summarize extra material consumption for project reconciliation.
 Ensure that contractors comply with works’ specifications.
 Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues Coordinate and chair the QA/QC 
site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel.
 Monitor the performance of the health, safety and environmental systems and make the required 
modifications and assess the risk involved in working on the systems and work upon reducing it.
 Supervise construction works contracts including quantity measurement, quality, variation and 
payments.
 Liaise with maintenance department supervisors in all aspects of repairs. Inspect any completed 
repairs, modifications and/or replacement. Selection of an appropriate inspection/NDT techniques 
as per codes/standards and specification.
 Ensure the effective application of new techniques, technologies and use of specialist NDT contractor 
to limit intrusive inspection so to maximize inspection intervals.
 Supervision and coordination of all on-stream and shutdown inspection/NDT activities of plant 
equipment’s.
 Conduct remaining life assessment of Pressure Equipment’s as per API-510 requirements.
 Root cause analysis of nonconformance at projects and in-service transmission pipeline as advised by senior management. 
 Performing RBI analysis of equipment and piping system as well as calculating remaining life of static 
equipment’s as per API-510 / API-580.
