    Job Summary:

    Implement a process for Continuous Improvement in Abbott Pakistan Plants. The objective is to identify and prioritize opportunities and assist in the implementation and measure of improvements in the areas of elimination of waste, velocity and productivity improvement. Ensure continuous improvement activities are integrated with performance excellence, follow through strong communication and implementation of CI projects to all stake holders.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Lead continuous improvement activities through motivating peoples and promoting "Continuous Improvement" culture by developing and support learning best practices on both sites.
    • Lead CI Projects resolve issues/available resources/removes obstacles independently from Idea generation to the final implementation.
    • Ensures strong communication of CI projects and project results.
    • Tracks CIP progress, prepares and facilitates project selection and status updates for Senior Management.
    • Reviews CIP progress monthly, recognizes efforts / milestones.
    • Coordinate to provide data to Finance for the calculation of CIP savings and publish monthly Manufacturing CIP detail report to Finance.
    • Coordinates with section Managers, as required, sets direction and priorities of CI projects, selects projects – ensures linkage to strategy & key needs
    • Ensures management and operation team are aware of potential roadblocks.
    • Focus on the use and development of performance measures designed to drive process and business improvements.
    • Drive the CI Matrix to meet the committed numbers of CI ideas with implementation.
    • Support site to conduct Lean Transformation activities at both Landhi and Korangi Plants to improve operational efficiencies.
    • Lead OEE related tasks for both sites of all critical lines including monitoring, controlling, improving, recording, and training of employees involved in the process of OEE measurement.
    • Lead and facilitate site OPEX as a Subject Matter Expert being a Certified LSSBB on CI methodology and tools, especially for SMED, OEE, 5S, Lean transformation, DMS etc.

    Knowledge, Education & Experience:

    • Knowledge of all constraints, in processes and procedures. Understands manufacturing /finishing operations environment.
    • Hands on Experience on Lean Philosophy, Lean tools, Six Sigma.
    • Understanding of Regulatory rules and GMP standards of QA and production operations / processes and Awareness of Environment, Health and Safety standards.
    • Should be proficient user of MS Excel, Power point. Preferably Power BI.
    • Engineering or Science Graduate / Preferably Industrial & Manufacturing
    • Post-graduate like Master of Engineering or Business Administration will be a plus.
    • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Preferably Black Belt
    • 6-7 Years of relevant experience.
