My five years of operations & maintenance planning experience makes me a potential candidate for the positions of maintenance planning engineer. You can conclude my professional career as a maintenance planner with an engineering background, having sound knowledge of the process, technical limitations, & safety regulations.

 I reside in Pakistan and working as a maintenance planning engineer at Karachi Nuclear Power Generating Station. 

 I am serving Karachi Nuclear Power Generating Station & I have completed several outages planning, execution, monitoring & feedback review process & it has become milestone in my career. As an outage planner, I prepare the critical path activities plan (level-I) & also responsible for scheduling of complete maintenance programs of mechanical jobs (HVAC, piping, pumps, valves, firefighting equipment, closed/open loop cooling systems, engines, & etc.), electrical jobs (motors, transformers, batteries, UPS, breakers, & etc.), I&C jobs, inspection jobs (UT, PT, RT, ET jobs) surveillances & post maintenance testing (level-II). Besides refueling activity, In-service inspection of RPV, sludge lancing of steam generators, ECT of steam generator tubes, etc. also in my planning scope. On the CI side, I serve the organization in planning and monitoring of complete turbine/generator overhauling, power & station transformer overhauling, inspection of condenser tubes, etc. 

In plant construction, equipment/system installation, and commissioning phase I remained involved from the planning to the execution phase. I also have rich experience in negotiating contracts, plans, deficiencies, and modifications with vendors. Throughout the commissioning, I built strong coordination and communication among work units, quality division, and contractors which helped me to minimize unreasonable delays. I was also involved in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly work packages. At the start of the day, my job was not only to schedule the commissioning/maintenance jobs but also to keep material & resource allocation in focus.

Besides planning activities, resource planning & management is also in my job scope. Throughout outages phase I also act as a member in manpower hiring and placement committee. Manpower accommodation, transportation & other management is monitored by the committee. 

 Being a Plant professional, I have also served power operations at Karachi Nuclear Power Plant for three years. Monitoring and controlling of plant systems (nuclear, conventional, and auxiliary), HVAC, turbine-generator systems, transformer & transmission systems was my core job. I used to assist the shift supervisor to manage crew of 10-15 operators throughout in this role. Turbine and secondary side systems startup, shutdown & transient handling were in my keen interest. This role developed a deep understanding of plant processes, safety hazards assessment skills & leadership skills in my skill set. 

Complete Microsoft package & Primavera P6 are my lifeline tools in my planning career. I have expertise in preparation of engineering project reports (installation, commissioning, procurement, & etc) as well. Besides project milestones cost control is also included in my job description. I also attended professional training on radiation protection & tripartite power purchase agreement.

I completed my B.E in mechanical engineering from NEDUET Karachi in 2015, a well-known engineering institute in Pakistan.
