    Job Summary:
    The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in hotel rooms, public areas, and other designated areas within a hospitality establishment. They play a critical role in ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment for guests by upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Clean and tidy hotel rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.
    • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including scrubbing toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
    • Ensure all surfaces are wiped down and free of dust, dirt, and stains.
    • Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.
    • Stock and replenish towels, toiletries, and other guest amenities.
    • Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, and elevators.
    • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in public areas and back-of-house spaces.
    • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department or supervisor.
    • Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
    • Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals.
    • Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and efficient use of resources.
    • Assist with special cleaning projects or tasks as assigned by management.
    • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues.
    • Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness and guest service excellence.
    • Work efficiently and independently to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred but not required.
    • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
    • Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
    • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
    • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, kneeling, and lifting.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.
    • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a positive guest experience.
