Engr. Shahi Salam

I have done my graduation in Agricultural Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan. My specializations are Irrigation and Water management , High Efficiency Irrigation System Design, Landscaping, mechanics of materials, Quantity survey. Passionate about making change to society. Dedicated, enthusiastic and loyal. Meticulous researcher, analyst, strategic and thinker. Proactive with a focus on solutions. The objective is to pursue my career by using the acquired knowledge and work hard further on my professional skills for the development and prosperity of human-being in the field of advanced agricultural engineering. Looking to secure a Graduate Commercial Analyst position to use and further develop my analytical skills and knowledge in a practical and fast-paced environment. Worked as a project Field Engineer in a well reputed public sector organization of Climate, Energy and Water Research Institute at National Agriculture Research Centre, Islamabad. My key responsibilities as a field engineer are designing of different high efficiency irrigation system, literature review of different irrigation techniques, Estimation of crop water requirements using different hydrological models like CropWat, AutoCAD Designing, Sketchup software designing, Preparation of BoQ, Pesticide and fertilizer estimation, Data compilation and analysis, soil physical and chemical properties(Bulk density, moisture, Texture and fertility) analysis.

I have total two years professional experience after graduation in public sector development project as research assistant. My key responsibilities are design high efficiency irrigation system design, field supervision and management, report writing, data compilation and analysis, estimation of different fertilizers and pesticide for rice crop and other fruit crops, soil chemical and physical analysis.

Graduated from University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar in Agricultural Engineering in 2019 with first division. 

My majors are Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Landscape engineering (soft and hard scape), Surveying and leveling, Quantity Survey, High efficiency irrigation system design.
