    Description

    Position Purpose

    This position is responsible to track, review and submit specified tax compliance and reporting requirements.

    Job Description

    • Review, prepare, finalize monthly tax payments.
    • Communicate and correct/rectify withholding tax data regarding Filer/Non-Filer status or application of the correct tax rate as advised by withholding tax rules.
    • Coordinate with vendors/suppliers of the Company to resolve tax issues related to income tax and sales tax.
    • Review, preparation, and filing of withholding tax statements for the Group Companies.
    • Review, preparation, and filing of sales tax returns for the Group Companies.
    • Perform monthly and annual reconciliation of tax ledgers, identifying and resolving issues with concerned departments.
    • Consolidate and maintain monthly and annual tax data for the Group Companies.
    • Assist in data collection, preparation, and filing of income tax returns for the Group Companies and Directors.
    • Prepare and issue withholding tax certificates to vendors, etc.
    • Respond to notices received from tax authorities regarding withholding tax declarations and certificates.
    • Coordinate with internal and external audit teams regarding tax matters.
    • Assist Team Leads in tax proceedings and tax litigations.
    • Coordinate with external tax consultants and legal consultants in tax litigation matters.

    Experience and Qualification

    • BBA / MBA Finance, CA Inter
    • 01 to 03 years of relevant experience

    Specific Requirement

    • Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst, or Tax Preparer in a practicing firm or medium to large-sized corporate entity.
    • Proficiency in IRIS FBR Portal.
    • Strong command and expertise in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
    • Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP.
    • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
    • Excellent analytical and time management skills.
