Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in telecom engineering or related engineering degreepreferred.
• 6 Months to 1.5 Years of experience in Service Management/Operations or incident management role.
• Relevant certification would be an added benefit.
• Has a broad knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and architectures.
• Experience in working with and delivering 24/7/365 managed services, preferably on a global scale.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great communication and eagerness to continue learning.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate a rapid response to major incidents and problems, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to investigate and resolve them, with minimal downtime to systems and services.
• Responsible for the effective implementation of the process Incident Management and carrying out the respective reporting procedures.
• Ensuring that incoming incidents are prioritized and handled efficiently and correctly according to our processes.
• Responsible for planning and coordinating all the activities required to resolve, monitor, report, and close incidents.
• Monitor the incidents to ensure that the Service Level Agreement is followed.
• Ensure communication of resolved incidents and end-user confirmed Incident tickets.
• Establish continuous process improvement cycles where the process performance, activities, roles and responsibilities, policies, procedures, and supporting technology are reviewed and enhanced where applicable.
• Determines if an incident needs to be escalated according to the priority and severity of the issue.
• Identify potential problems and/or increasing trends of repetitive Incidents.
• Adapt our ticketing system to fit our procedures and work processes.
