I have 15 years of experience working in security department of different International, National, Government and Non-Government healthcare organisations. Given the education, knowledge and experience I have, I believe that I may be the suitable candidate for any suitable position in your organisation’s security department. 

I am a dedicated and trusted individual with an excellent quality in verbal, written communication, and able to communicate fluently in three different languages: English, Urdu and Pashto. I have the capability to talk with and convince people. I am able to manage and organise the paperwork while coordinating with the team efficiently.

Job Title                            Manager Security                       

Responsibilities               I was responsible to contribute to the Hospital Administration and direction of the organisation. I was responsible to prepare & implement security policy, security plan, Disaster Management & Evacuation plan, preparation and Implementation of duty roster, deployment of guards, Monitoring and Surveillance, trainings of staff on de-escalation and managing violence in healthcare settings, Communication Skills and Crowed Control Measures, rescue, firefighting and first aid.

I was also responsible to support the HR department in the development of the organizational culture that reflects our values, promotes accountability and high performance and frees up our employees to deliver outstanding services to the ailing community by providing them safe and secure environment.

I was also responsible to develop a strong analysis of the safety and security posture of the organization and use this analysis to advise the Hospital Director and Board of Governors on the development of current and potential security situation, and was always prepared to do this within no time in the event of any security situation.

To provide security briefing to all visitors and also to colleagues when needed.

I was also responsible to assess the threats and risks and present it in the Executive Committee meeting and to provide sound solutions to emerging security threats and risks.

To generate a detailed post incident report of the incidents occurred,share it with the Hospital Director and follow up on recommendations.

Job Title                           Manager Security                                                                  Responsibilities               I was responsible for the preparation and implementation of strong and

effective safety and security procedures within the organisation and these were compliant with local norms and values as well as national security policy.

I was responsible to handle all safety and security crises. 

To prepare & implement safety and security policy, safety and security management plan (SSMP), Evacuation plan, duty roster, deployment of guards, monitoring and surveillance, trainings of staff on rescue, firefighting and first aid for the hospital and to make sure the safety of the hospital staff & property. 

I also prepared and got it approved from the Board of Governors contingency plans on special occasions (e.g. Muharam, Strikes, Elections, Bomb Blasts and natural disasters, etc.)

I was responsible to ensure that other departments (HR, Finance, Administration and Logistics/Procurement) have in place appropriate systems to facilitate good security management

I was also responsible to establish a process to identify and report to the Hospital Director on lapses and gaps in adherence to the security SOPs by the staff, patients and their attendants, contractors and interns.

Maintain a close co-ordination role with the local police and other Law Enforcement Agencies. 

To deliver crisis management / incident management training for staff members.

To deliver safety and security training for all staff as it applies to their respective positions and the organisational Safety and Security Policy.

To develop a joint safety and security plan for the country under the supervision of the Country Security Specialist and with the involvement of the key staff members.

To provide detailed analysis to the World Bank management in Pakistan to gain and maintain secured and safe physical access to its field operations, how and what needs to be put in place in order for the World bank to work in that area with its partners or on its own with minimum risk to the World Bank staff

To lead drafting, review and amendments/updating of the security policy, SOPs and to keep them relevant and responsive to the changing internal policy environment and external contextual dynamics:

To establish a process to identify and report to the Country Security Specialist on lapses and gaps in adherence to the security SOPs by the staff, partners, consultants and interns, in all field locations.

Maintain a close co-ordination role with the Asia regional security management team through country security specialist.

To ensure all staff within the team have clarity about their respective roles and responsibilities

Lead development of and oversight of recommendations for new or refined security management policies and procedures based on field, sub office inquiries, training needs, and management reports.

I was the main Security &Safety focal point for the World Bank with UN Agencies, INGOs, Local police and Law Enforcement Agencies of Govt. of Pakistan.

To develop networks and close working relationships with security focal points of other INGOs, NNGOs, the UN agencies, and the World Bank donor organisations, specifically with those NNGO/INGOs/UN that have operations in the same districts and provinces where the World Bank has programmes and in areas through which the World bank staff routinely travels through.

To represent the World bank in security meetings and security forums of development and humanitarian organisations at national level.
