I am an Analytical Chemist with a focus on quality control in different industries like pharmaceutical, food, textile, pesticides and beverage. I identified and resolved a critical contamination issue during my academic years, preventing a potential product recall. I have special expertise in titration (acid/base, precipitation, double), distillation (fractional distillation), extraction (separation by using separating funnel), chromatography (liquid, paper, gas, thin layer), sterilization (mechanical and chemical), filtration and measuring pH (pH paper, indicator, pH meter). I have prepared buffer solutions for academic experiments. I have basic knowledge of electro-analytical techniques such as potentiometry, coulometry, electrogravimetry, voltammetry and polarography. I particularly enjoy laboratory work and have developed something of a facility for the practical, rarely finding it too difficult. I have done my last semester project in a efficient way gained research expertise. I believe that these qualities and enthusiasm, together with my excellent academic record, hold out the prospect of considerable success, both in the degree course and in my future career.
