Thesis Title : Efficient Classification of Weeds in Crops for Autonomous Spray Application

This thesis focusses on efficient classification of weeds in tobacco, sesame and sugar beet crops from drone images using deep learning. I have proposed two methodologies which help in selective spraying in agricultural crops. I have published 5 research papers and 2 labeled aerial datasets, which are the outcome of this thesis and support further research.

The project enabled us to produce a system which helps the car driver in his driving by recognizing sign boards, head on vehicle collision detection and unwanted lane change detection using image processing techniques.
