Sadaf Saleem

I am Dr Sadaf Saleem, MBBS, MHPE & PhD Scholar in HPE. For the past 10 years I have been working in the field of Medical Education, staring as demonstrator and then moving on to Director Medical Education and now working as Assistant Prof. with an experience of 2.5 years as AP. I also had the opportunity of working in The Pakistan Medical Council as Manager Inspections and acting Member Education for almost 1.5 year which gave me a unique experience of working and collaborating with International Accrediting bodies. I had been leading the medical education team for the past 4-5 years.

I started working as demonstrator in Ziauddin Medical College, Ziauddin University as lecturer. Then I worked at Army Medical College, Rawalpindi in the same capacity. After doing my Masters in Health Professions Education fro Riphah International University, Islamabad, I joined Pakistan International Medical College, Peshawar for almost 2 years. Here I established medical education department, conducted multiple faculty development workshops and coordination with the affiliated University (i.e. Khyber Medical University) in developing and implementing integrated curriculum at provincial level. Then in 2021, I was hired at Pakistan Medical Council, the accrediting body of Pakistan. I served for 1.5 years at PMC. After the change of PMC to PMDC, I joined National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. Here once again I am Head of the department and helping in the establishment of the department and college.

I have done MBBS and the Masters in health Professions Education (MHPE). Currently I am enrolled in PhD program in Health Professions Education at Khyber Medical University, Peshawar.
