Previously worked as Director of Libraries at GIFT University Gujranwala Pakistan.
I have introduced several new services as per international standards and taken many initiatives. For the first time introduced in Pakistan "FLIPPED CLASSROOM HYBRID LEARNING MODEL" played the role of a master trainer, and gave training to all departments and the school's faculties and management. Introduced first in Pakistan "Community Engagement Program" "Human Library" through the library platform. Upgraded library management system from traditional to automation and digitization. Reformed library staff structure and developed hiring procedure, budgeting, management, training, etc,
Before joining GIFT University, I have been associated with LUMS as head of the Electronic Resources and Serials section from 2015 to 2019. I worked closely with the faculty of LUMS and Management and used to give training sessions on " how to use databases, research and indexing databases". An active member of LUMS faculty research dashboard development team, evaluation of published research. Research evaluation like research metrics, institutional research, author research output, APIs Scopus, institutional research output dashboard, and topical research.

There are several unique characteristics are in my professional profile like; a Certified advisor/ trainer and a member of the Mendeley community of the UK. Certified research librarian Scopus indexing databases (Elsevier) the UK. Brand ambassador and country representative of Emerald Publishing Africa and UEA. Director (Training, Seminar, Workshop) Pakistan Research Center for Excellence (PRCE). Editor (Content Language) of the International Journal of Information Management Science (IJIMS). Master trainer of Flipped Classroom hybrid teaching model. Turnitin Trainer and institutional representative at GIFT University.

Mr. Qaiser Iqbal was awarded his MPhil in Library Information Management in 2020 with the research thesis “User’s technology acceptance and usage behavior of online databases in university libraries of Lahore”.  A Researcher, Educationist, Expert in Library Management, Informatics & Trainer. He is the first Pakistani Scopus Research Certified Librarian, also Mendeley Advisor and Community Member, UK Elsevier. Brand Ambassador/ Country representative of Emerald Publishing International Middle East and Africa. Served at reputable national institutes like LUMS, GIFT, Riphah International University, SMDC, Punjab Group of Colleges, Civil Services Academy, and UMT.
