• OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION: Expert in performing (both independently and in the team) quantitative technical evaluation (identify, map, and quantify) hydrocarbon (oil and gas) exploration opportunities, assigning risk, and completing volumetric assessments in the frontier and mature areas. Assessing the outcomes and assisting in cascading the key learnings throughout the exploration organization and maintaining an up-to-date exploration portfolio. Key skills include.
• Supervise exploration and growth asset teams consisting of multidisciplinary teams of professionals and support function staff to carry out geotechnical and commercial basin analysis; produce play fairway and risk maps to aid strategy development; provide direction for new venture activity.
• Expert in providing innovative workflows & technologies to de-risk exploration & development challenges, and management support to develop Exploration & Development Strategies, Business Plans, develop Exploration budgets, Field Development Plans, and set work plans to deliver short & long-term objectives to support the company’s policies & vision.
• Work with the corporate planning department to develop policies related to business ethics, provides consulting to different management levels within the company, perform ethics and integrity culture assessments, and support the conflict of interest and business ethics committee.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and revision of policies and procedures related to the business ethics program through strong technical leadership.
• Provide mentoring and technical assistance to junior professionals of the team; proactive engagement with the prospect generators through technical peer assistance; knowledge transfer of the team’s methodology and results to the exploration organization and senior management.
• ENERGY BUSINESS MANAGEMENT: Skillful in the development and evaluation of business performance metrics, strategic planning and program evaluation, scientific investigations leading to the development of problem-solving strategies, risk and resource assessment, project management, market research, technical and business forecasting, litigation support, technology assessment, and management. 
• Provide high-quality technical advisory assistance to the business units to identify and analyze potential Merger & Acquisition (M&A) opportunities.
• Lead day-to-day complex M&A transactions including leading junior colleagues and interacting across Business Units, Corporate Centre functions, and external advisers and counterparties.
• Present investment and development strategies to senior management and secure their buy-in Build strong relationships with Affiliate strategy stakeholders globally.
• COMPUTING COMPETENCY: Holds post-graduate diploma (PGD) in computer science. Computer skill set/competencies include software application packages (@Risk, Minitab18, ArcGIS, MS office, Fortran, MATLAB), Operating system and computing systems, Database management systems, contemporary scripting languages, MS Office, Oracle, dBase, and various business technology platforms.
