Demonstrated over 30 years of dedicated experience and a key role in large scale structural engineering & WASH projects – Planned, developed, designed and implemented structural blueprints based on engineering specifications and technical drawings for infrastructural WASH projects and complex facilities. Design of WASH infrastructures as per requirements of the client and relevant line agencies with DRR compliance. Design and supervision/monitoring of solar technology-based drinking water supply schemes. Design and monitoring of gravity based slow sand filtration based ponds, design and monitoring of gravity based drinking water supply schemes, design and monitoring of tube wells for community drinking water supply schemes in rural and urban areas of the country. Conducted trainings for capacity building of engineers and implementing partners.

Leading a team of engineers for the assessment, design and supervision of WASH projects funded by UNICEF and implemented by Government departments (Public Health Department, Local Government & Education Department), NGOs and contractors. Structural and architectural design, monitoring of security related works of new office UNICEF Peshawar, preparation of technical specification, cost estimation for all required works, defining specifications with precise details and measurements for new works, preparation and defining safety practices for workers during implementation of work, monitoring of all construction and renovation related activities, ensuring quality control and progress of construction activities as per schedule and specifications, briefing to project related visitors from country office and abroad, security adviser and  CFO   regarding ongoing activities and future planning for the project, reporting of daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly  progress   to all relevant officials in country office Islamabad. Preparation of final report for completed projects.

 

Detail of projects completed:

1. Design of structures, preparation of cost estimates and specifications, detail supervision of security enhancements at UNICEF new office Peshawar. Design, cost estimation, tendering and supervision of additional rooms in existing buildings. Maintenance and rehabilitation of existing buildings. Design and construction of tube wells and water supply network for office complex. Water proofing of existing buildings and construction of drainage system for office complex. Complete electrification, IT network, fire alarm system, seismic alarm system, emergency hooter system in office complex.

2. Preparation of PC-1, short listing of contractors, tendering, award of contract and detail supervision of Child Protection Bureau office and hostel, for department of social welfare, funded by UNICEF.

3. Design, supervision of FCC (Family Care Center) for HIV/AIDS patients and their families at Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar, funded by UNICEF.

4. Design and supervision of stabilization center for children ward at Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar, funded by UNICEF.

5. Design and supervision of Newborn Care Units in STH Swat, DHQ Hospital Batkhela Malakand, DHQT Hospital D I Khan, DHQ Hospital Upper Dir, DHQ Hospital Chitral of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and AHQ Hospital at Bajaur Agency of FATA.

6. Assessment, design implementing and monitoring of WASH facilities in 150 schools of Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera and Swabi districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

7. Design, construction, and monitoring of Provincial EPI stores in provincial head quarter Peshawar, installation of cold rooms for storage of vaccine in several district head quarter hospitals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Construction and refurbishing of cross border vaccination point at Pak-Afghan border Torkham. Design and supervision of transitional shelters for polio workers at 52 points of FATA.

8. Assessment, designing and monitoring of (WASH projects) water supply and sanitation schemes at schools/community health centers in IDPs returned areas of Bajaur, Mohmand, Kurram and Orakzai agency of FATA. 

9. Assessment, design, cost estimation, tendering and monitoring of (WASH Projects) of drinking water supply schemes, tube wells, hand pumps and sanitation schemes at polio effected areas of Peshawar Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

10. Assessment, design and monitoring of (WASH Project) water supply and sanitation system in critical areas of Peshawar city in collaboration with LG&RDD, PHED & WSSP government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
