Roles as Deputy Director (Head of Department):

Planning, Execution and Reporting of all activities related to Distribution of Books to Schools

Detail:

Punjab Education Foundation is a Public Sector autonomous organization and distributes free textbooks to more than 2.5 million students annually. I as a head of Books Distribution Cell (BDC) am responsible for the planning, execution and controlling the whole activity.

II. Worked as “Assistant Director” in Punjab Education Foundation( November 2007 to July 2022)

i. As Assistant Director in Books Distribution Cell (BDC) of Punjab Education Foundation (January 2016 to July 2022)

Responsibilities:

· To make floor planning to store the books at warehouse.

· To plan books dispatching/truck planning all over the Punjab.

· To plan books distribution activity all over the Punjab.

· To compile data of Books.

· To liaise with IT department about books as and when required.

· To coordinate with Programs regarding books data whenever required

· To assist Deputy Director to Distribute Books.

· To provide assistance to whole team regarding books distribution activity.

· To support Deputy Director to verify Book Received Form (BRF) submitted by concerned Department/office.

· To coordinate with officers with respect to un loading of Books at warehouse.

· To ensure SMS to partner schools to collect books.

· To coordinate with school owners to ensure centre schools for books distribution.

· To assist Deputy Director to compile data after books distribution.

· To monitor teams during books distribution activity to ensure smooth operation.

· To prepare books distribution report.

· To execute any other activity assigned by Concerned DD/HOD.

ii. As an Assistant Director in Continuous Professional Development Program(CPDP) of Punjab Education Foundation

· Planned Camp Based Trainings.

· Communicated the plan to Master trainers and partner schools for execute.

· Assisted Deputy Director to achieve target of camp based trainings.

· Analyzed the monitoring reports of camp based trainings.

· Monitored the camp based trainings.

· Any other duty / assignment assigned by the DD/HOD.

iii. As a Planner, Coordinator, Supervisor and Monitor at the post of “ Assistant Director-EVS” in Education Voucher Scheme of Punjab Education Foundation

Description:

· Ensured execution of assigned work regarding voucher printing as per approved policy.

· Liaised with IT department and partner schools on financial matter

· Identified and register voucher eligible children.

· Monitored assigned partner schools as directed by DD.

· Assessed the performance of team members and identify training needs for them.

· Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

iv. Contribution in Foundation Assisted School Program of Punjab Education Foundation

Description:

· Assisted Deputy Director in timely execution of scheme in the field.

· Monitoring of schools on behalf of Deputy Director

· Communicated partner schools as and when required.

· Monitored assigned partner schools as directed by DD.

· Marinated all record of partner schools and providing them a

s and when required.
