Hookah smoking is a traditional part of the Middle Eastern culture, but it has now become quite popular in Europe and North America. But this is not something that you want to do for long periods of time.

Hookahs are made from clay or glass and come in many different shapes, sizes and colors. They have been around for thousands of years, but they have only been used for smoking in the last 150 years or so.

Hookah smoking can be very dangerous if you do not know how to use them properly. It can cause lung irritation and other health problems if you inhale too much smoke while using a hookah or if you do not clean it properly after each use.

Hookah smoke is not exactly the same as ordinary cigarette smoke. The main difference is that it contains nicotine, which is why hookah smokers are more prone to nicotine addiction than cigarette smokers.

The other major difference between hookah and cigarettes is that hookah smoking involves combustion of tobacco and water, whereas cigarette smoking involves combustion of tobacco and air.

Hookah smoke contains high concentrations of carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), nitric oxide (NO), and hydrogen cyanide (HCN).

Hookah smoking also causes significant amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) to be exhaled into the lungs when one takes a puff on the hose. This causes irritation in the throat and lungs, coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath and chest pain.
