Fahad Mustafa

I started as QA engineer in 2016. In the beginning, I focused on End to End testing using UI of web and mobile apps. As I gained experience, I started using different tools/techniques to improve the quality control process e.g. Browser developer option for debugging, Postman for API testing, SQL for Database manipulation and testing, JIRA for SDLC management and for tracking bugs.  To have better understanding of the system, I learned javascript, as majority of the solutions were javascript based. To avoid potentials bugs/defects, I have discussions with developers regarding implementation of a new feature/logic. 

I got certified from ISTQB and Srum.org to efficiently perform as QA engineer in an Agile environment. I acted as enforcer of scrum.

At my current stay at Pakistan Engineering Council, in addition to QA activities, I am also responsible for vendor management and customer care. For out-sourced projects, I perform as Focal Person of PEC for vendors. For customers, I perform as Level-2 support representative. 

I have basic knowledge of automation and I have done automation for some pilot projects, but I want to work in an organization that will help me grow and provide conducive environment for automation.
