Afzal Rahman

Ph.D. in applied mathematics

I have 8 years of teaching experience at the BS level in two Universities. 3 years and six months of them at CECOS University of Technology and Emerging Sciences and 4 years and six months at the University of Buner. Currently, I am working as a lecturer (Mathematics) at the University of Buner, also performing the additional responsibility of Head of the Department of Mathematics.

I completed my Ph.D. (Applied Mathematics) from the University of Peshawar Pakistan in 2022, and my research area was variational models and computational algorithms for image segmentation. My MS degree which I completed in 2015 from the University of Trento Italy, my research area was statistical inference for stochastic processes.
