Education of Pakistan

Education system of Pakistan
Education plays an important role in the progress and development of a state. Progress of any country depends upon its literacy rate and quality of education in that country. Therefore, it is the key priority of nations. The Pakistani education system is one of the oldest in the world. Hec is the gap between an academic career and the practical life of any individual that is directly linked with the work force. We should include practical education in the academic portion of universities. Why are the European countries more developed ? Because they emphasize practical education. The importance of practical education is more because what you study today will be implemented tomorrow. Unfortunately, what is being taught in Pakistani universities does not meet this criterion. The world is changing rapidly but HEC in Pakistan is still based on old tradition. That is why the literacy rate of Pakistan is very low, about 62.3, which means that an estimated population of 60 million is illiterate in the country. Even the literacy rate of Pakistan is low compared to Bangladesh, Egypt and other underdeveloped countries.
Why are more people illiterate in Pakistan?
1) The Pakistani government do not pay attention to primary schools that are present in the villages. In small villages, the primary schools are not progressing. These are small schools having little facilities. All of us know that primary education is the main pillar of higher education. In every field of life, primary schools play the foundation and supporting rule.
2) Pakistani education creates discrimination between poor and rich students. There are two types of schools in Pakistan, private and public. Private schools provide good facilities and quality education, but the paradox is that while private schools are better than public. But they are not available everywhere and poor people can't afford them.

3) Poverty is the major issue behind the high illiteracy rate in Pakistan, because Pakistan has no equal distribution of resources in all parts of the country. Here in Pakistan, middle-class families can not get a quality education.
The government should provide free education, the same for all citizens. There should be no discrimination about the quality of education for poor and rich people.
Technical education should be added to secondary education. The syllabus must include carpentry, manual, and other technical education classes.
By offering financial help to students, they may encourage their parents to enrol their children in school. Hence, it would be helpful in lowering the dropout rate.
The local government system aids in the promotion of education and literacy in the country. The money for education in the local government educational programs and system can be used on the basis of need in the community.
