    Job Overview

    Port Qasim Electric Power Company (Private) Limited (PQEPC) is seeking a
    highly disciplined and organized Document Manager / Records & Documentation Officer
    to manage and safeguard the company's official records.

    Fluency in Chinese (spoken & written) is mandatory.

    The selected candidate will work closely with a Chinese Document Controller who will train and guide them in PQEPC's document management processes and standards.

    The role requires responsibility, confidentiality, and strong coordination skills to ensure smooth documentation flow between Pakistani and Chinese departments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage, organize, and maintain official company documents, registers, letters, and records (physical & digital).
    • Ensure documents are properly filled, stamped, labeled, classified, recorded, and filed according to company procedure.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality and secure access control for sensitive and official documents.
    • Support in preparing meeting files, document sets, filing indexes, and documentation for audits or inspections.
    • Assist in digital archiving, scanning, backup filing, and maintaining a clean, organized filing system.
    • Continuously improve filing discipline, documentation accuracy, and compliance with retention policies.

    Note: Full procedural training will be provided by the Chinese Document Controller.
    Employment Status

    Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in
      Business Administration, Records Management, Library & Information Science, or relevant field

    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum
      2–3 years of experience
      in documentation, record-keeping, office administration, or coordination role
    • Experience in a multinational or Chinese-run company will be preferred (but not mandatory)

    • Chinese Language:
      Fluent in
      spoken and written Chinese

    • Strong English communication skills
    • Highly disciplined, organized, and detail-oriented
    • Strong follow-up ability and willingness to learn
