    About the role:

    Manager ICFR and Risk will work closely with technology, commercial and other divisions as well as within finance to ensure effective delivery around Internal Control for Financial Reporting and Enterprise Risk Management. The position will also require insightful and holistic oversight of the organization in order to support risk management. The position reports to Senior Business Manager Technology in Business Planning and Analysis

    Responsibilities:

    • Implementation of Telenor's Enterprise Risk Management framework throughout the organization
    • Oversight and monitoring of all operational risk management activities of the company.
    • Monitoring and analyzing strategic and operational risks within the company and reporting to the management and Board of Directors Risk assessments of ongoing projects
    • Creating awareness and building a strong risk community within the organization
    • Maintaining the risk register in Archer Planning and holding quarterly risk forum and facilitating the CFO and CEO on chairing the risk forum and management meetings on risk
    • Implementation including design and effectiveness of the internal controls over financial reporting as per SOX guidelines
    • Updating and maintaining the Internal Control Universe
    • Performing process walkthroughs and control workshops to identify financial risks and deploy controls
    • Planning testing of controls with external auditors
    • Apprising the management on quarterly control status
    • Holding control awareness workshops and empowering control owners Designing campaigns to engage control owners throughout the organization
    • Holding frequent dialogues with control owners to support the control environment
    • Oversight and monitoring of financial governance including delegation of authority

    What we are looking for?

    Education: CA/ACMA/ACCA other relevant financial/business qualification

    Work Experience: Around 6-7 years' relevant experience. Prior experience in risk and assurance will be a plus

    Potential Career Path:

    Manager and Senior Manager positions in business performance management as well as in other areas of the company (such as accounting, business planning/analysis, strategy, etc.)

    Requisite Skills / Knowledge Areas

    • Strong interpersonal, presentation and Team building skills
    • Should be able to work individually and also in a team
    • Ability to create/edit and evaluate detailed financial models
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure, and keep an eye on the bigger picture
    • Excellent analytical skills including skilled in variance analysis and business case evaluations
    • Solid understanding of the revenue and cost drivers specific to the telecommunication industry
    • Excellent writing and presentation skills and experience in financial analysis
    • Sound knowledge of Finance and Accounting
