    Position Summary

    The Pep Boys Headquarters, located in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst in our Finance department. The position will own all business aspects of the financial system (AP, AR, GL, JC, FA) including assisting in the upgrade to SAP, management the SOX program within the Gross Margin Department and assisting the department with Access Databases and Excel reporting from a maintenance of existing and creation of new databases and spreadsheet reporting.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for day-to-day application support including but not limited to: business configuration development and changes, supporting report creation and processing.

    • Data mining and analysis; ad-hoc reporting and system related projects.

    • Creating, enhancing and maintaining current business process and reporting in Microsoft Excel.

    • Ensure multiple systems interact effectively with each other related systems and support business users in resolving system issues.

    • Make recommendations relative to best practices and/or system/process enhancements.

    • Identify opportunities for business process improvements.

    Qualification & Experience:


    • CFA / CA / ACCA /ACMA/ MBA (IBA/LUMS/Foreign University)

    • CFA / ACCA / MBA: 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance or FP & A, preferably in a multinational corporation

    • CA Articles from Big 4, 1-2 years of experience in corporate finance or FP & A, preferably in a multinational corporation

    • Experience with Microsoft Suite.

    • Proficient in creating databases and reports.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

    • Experience with SOX and applying the COSO 2013 framework."

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


    • Experience with SAP is preferred including ERP, BPC/EPM tool, BO business intelligence analysis tool.

    • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access skills

    • Experience evaluating performance trends.

    • Strong attention to detail and organization skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

    • Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle sensitive data and multi-task so that deadlines can be met.

    • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups.

    • Proven history of time-management, leadership, and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to multi-task and comfortable working with ambiguity at times

    • Strong problem-solving, collaboration and entrepreneurial instincts

    • Data modeling experience.

    • PowerBI Dashboard user who can create and maintain PowerBI dashboard.
