    Rocket Lab Facilities Team Lead

    We are a global leader in launch and space systems. Our rockets and satellites enable ambitious space missions, supporting exploration, Earth observation, climate change initiatives, national security, and technology demonstrations.

    Our team is responsible for maintenance, operations, and improvements projects across our locations, ensuring well-maintained facilities that support our daily operations.

    This role involves managing LC1 complex and supporting infrastructure, with a focus on Buildings and Grounds. You will be accountable for setting the tone, driving productivity, and ensuring deadlines and targets are met.

    The role's key responsibilities include:

    • Managing stakeholder relationships and fostering strong collaboration within internal and external teams.
    • Mentoring and supporting staff to achieve high efficiency in facility management.
    • Cross-functional engagement to drive maintenance best practices, knowledge sharing, and improvements.
    • Staying up-to-date with compliance regulations across high-risk facilities.
    • Managing quarterly and annual budgets for maintenance and projects.

    To succeed in this role, you should have:

    • 5+ years of experience in facilities management.
    • Implementation and operation of CMMS systems.
    • Able to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.
    • Strong business acumen and communication skills.
