Description

An established UK accountancy practice with a wide range of clients, is seeking to add to it's team of professionals. We are looking to recruit individuals who have experience of working with UK company accounts. A prior understanding and work experience of working in an accounting firm dealing with UK clients is essential.

Salary: negotiable

LOCATION: Islamabad Stock Exchange Tower, Jinnah Avenue, Blue Area

INTERVIEWS WILL TAKE PLACE ON 13th and 14th May 2024

Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuing accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Ltd companies are prepared to the highest standard quality assurance

A thorough understanding and knowledge of the latest technical accounting processes, procedures, compliance requirements and implications on clients

Ensure planning, delivery, quality assurance and monitoring of the assigned clients in a timely, accurate and efficient manner including the following deliverable:

Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial statements

Manage the general ledger and perform journal entries as necessary

Bookkeeping

Tax/ VAT calculations

Preparation of the monthly management accounts

Balance sheet reconciliations

Preparation of year-end financial accounts

Ad hoc reporting and duties as required.

Key skills and requirements are:

Qualified ACCA with 3+ years experience post qualification

High calibre and energetic candidate with strong accounting experience

Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills

An advanced user of accounting systems (Xero, IRIS, SAGE, etc.)

Strong analytical skills

Must have the ability to work quickly and accurately

An eye for detail

An ability to work to deadlines

Great organization skills

Good Excel & computer skills

Can work under pressure

An effective communicator you will be comfortable liaising with colleagues and clients

Fluent in English

Prior understanding and experience of working in an accounting firm dealing with UK clients

The candidate would be interacting with UK team via Microsoft Teams. Therefore strong communication and computer literacy skills will be required

You must be available during UK hours between 9am - 5pm.
