    Description

    Medical Billing/AR Specialist

    We are a US-based medical billing and revenue cycle management company seeking an experienced Medical Billing Professional with expertise in working with US-based medical billing companies.

    The ideal candidate should possess excellent knowledge of medical billing, AR, denial management, appeals, and strong Excel and reporting skills.

    • At least 2 years of experience in medical billing, claim follow-up, and insurance calls.
    • Main responsibilities include medical billing/AR, claim follow-up, denials management, insurance calls, and payer portals queries.
    • Awareness of all HITECH and HIPAA rules and regulations is essential.
    • Familiarity with various billing software, including Kareo and CureMD, is required.
    • Strong verbal communication skills in English are necessary.

    Job Requirements

    • Excellent working knowledge of EHRs, medical billing software, MS Office, web fax, encoderpro, payer portals, and other related tools and software.
    • Good understanding of medical billing and coding principles.
    • Effective denial management and appeal strategies.
    • Research and management reporting capabilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including good typing speed.

    The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
