- Ensure all sections are aware of contractual requirements and the contractor's performance meets contractual obligations.
- Verify that the employer performs according to contract terms, providing guidance as necessary.
- Communicate instructions from Engineer and/or Employer's staff to Project Managers/Supervisors and document them immediately.
- Notify Engineer and Employer of work execution and major events under the contract.
- Prepare claims and variation orders following contract provisions and dispute resolution procedures.
- Monitor progress, advise Project Managers/Supervisors on delays, and recommend improvements.
- Analyze tender and construction drawings to assess impacts of contractual changes.
- Negotiate agreements with subcontractors as required.
- Handle contract matters related to subcontracted work, including instructions and payment certifications.
- Prepare and submit claims for extension of time and settle disputes.
- Issue contractual notices for events leading to extensions or additional costs.
- Maintain a safe working environment, manage risks, and ensure Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policy compliance.
