    Clinical Nurse Instructor in Paediatrics

    Role

    A clinical nurse instructor is required to join the team at Aga Khan University Hospital, a leading healthcare institution in Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to nursing staff.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To assess the learning needs of nursing staff and ensure they attend continuing education sessions offered by the Nursing Education Services department.
    • To develop plans for training and conduct formal and informal sessions to evaluate their effectiveness.
    • To coordinate with the Nursing Education Services department to implement division-wide nursing educational programs.
    • To develop and deliver specialty-based annual educational sessions as per monthly educational plans.
    • To ensure that new staff complete the Competency-Based Orientation within the established timeline.
    • To monitor credentialing of nursing staff and nominate them for re-credentialing if required.

    Requirements

    • A BScN degree from a reputable Institute with a valid PNC license (having validity of at least six months).
    • At least 3 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
    • Valid certificates in ACLS/BLS, Safe medication Administration, Intravenous Cannulation, and Conscious Sedation.
    • Demonstrated ability to impart knowledge and skills, and possess expertise in chosen area of clinical practice.
    • Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and awareness of current clinical and research literature.
