- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA or ACCA preferred.
- 7+ years (Post Articleship) of progressive experience in finance roles within the fintech industry, with a focus on reconciliation processes.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and reconciliation tools; experience with fintech platforms and payment systems preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the goals of our fintech organization. Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Provide transparency into financial performance to senior management and stakeholders.
- Reconciliation Expertise: Lead reconciliation processes for various financial transactions, including banking, payments, and customer accounts. Ensure accuracy and integrity in financial data and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow effectively to support operational needs and business growth. Monitor liquidity, forecast cash requirements, and implement strategies to optimize working capital.
- Tax Compliance: Collaborate with tax advisors to develop tax strategies and ensure compliance with tax regulations specific to the fintech industry. Review tax filings and submissions, addressing any issues or concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement controls to mitigate them effectively. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure compliance and minimize risk exposure.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate external audits and examinations, liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions to strengthen internal controls.
