    Description

    Expert Strategy & Investment

    This role entails engaging with key stakeholders to deliver on overall strategy, planning, and direction of DFS.

    • Assist in the annual strategy cycle through strategy workshops, stakeholder alignment, strategy paper formulation, and associated presentations.
    • Articulate business strategy through clearly defined goals and KPIs. Monitor KPI infrastructure to facilitate analysis and reporting of performance against strategic objectives.
    • Periodic strategy reviews and subsequent recommendations for improvements to existing business strategy.
    • Development of periodic strategies for innovative use-cases.
    • Investment-related discussions with potential target entities.
    • Responsible for communicating strategy and periodic updates to the entire organization.
    • Assess existing markets, financial, and ancillary markets, as well as macro-economic trends.
    • Making recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, viability of outside business partners.
    • Liaising with and responding to group queries after alignment with all internal stakeholders.
    • Collaborating with industry specialists/research entities.
    • Providing insights based on regulations, new players, and use-cases within the evolving Fintech landscape.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • 3-5 years' work experience in the field of strategy/commercial/finance, preferably within Fintech.
    • An MBA or Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, or ACCA certification.
    • A self-driven and intellectually curious individual able to carry out impactful discussions with senior stakeholders influencing strategic priorities.
    • Strong analytical thinking and reasoning skills.
    • Excellent report writing and PowerPoint skills.
    • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
