    Job Description

    The role requires providing technical inputs to implement project activities, achieve targets and lead teams. This involves developing strong liaisons with district departments, coordinating with team members and management to meet project objectives.

    A key responsibility is making monthly progress reports and sharing them with the project manager and team members. Quarterly reports are also shared with the district government/advisory committee.

    Recommendations on interventions are made accordingly, and analytical tracking reports are developed. The role also entails planning the strengthening of community groups through participatory interactions.

    Training sessions are organized for district level officials to prepare baselines and enhance capacity for district-based planning. Progress and analytical reports, case studies and presentations are developed, and monitoring/evaluation exercises are participated in.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide guidance in district financial matters
    • Ensure monthly forecasts for project activities and office
    • Maintain office equipment and vehicles according to set procedures
    • Manage a district team comprising program, admin, support staff and consultants

    Requirements

    • Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills
    • Understanding of databases and ability to develop analytical reports
    • Proficiency in computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email communications
    • Knowledge of education planning at village, union council and district level
    • Ability to identify HRD requirements, train team members and manage them effectively
    • Capacity to develop working relationships with District Government/Department officials

    Additional Information

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education planning and experience in leading teams in a similar context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
