- Operations Management: Oversee daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of supervisors, engineers, and production staff. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and employee development.
- Production Planning and Optimization: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and business objectives. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
- Quality Management: Ensure that products meet quality standards and customer requirements. Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
- Maintenance and Reliability: Oversee maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize asset performance.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage plant budgets, including labor, materials, and overhead costs. Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental laws, and company policies. Implement and maintain safety and environmental management systems.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure business success.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or a related field.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or other manufacturing software.
