    We are seeking a meticulous Financial Transactions Specialist to manage outgoing payments and ensure accuracy in financial records. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
    • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
    • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
    • Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues with vendors.
    • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts payable status.
    • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Ensure all invoices are uploaded and manage credit card transactions to adhere to policies.
    • Maintain open communication with managers and others to resolve issues or obtain information.
    • Prepare material for audit purposes.
    • Manage loans and calculate startup costs.
    • Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.

    Requirements:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work longer hours as needed.
    • Fluency in English.
    • Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop.
