    OMS Technical Architect

    We are seeking a highly experienced OMS Technical Architect to join our team at GSPANN Technologies Inc. As we continue to drive growth and innovation, we need passionate professionals who can help us achieve our goals.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing complex enterprise applications using IBM Sterling and other OMS platforms. They will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized solutions that meet their requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for client-facing solutions and applications.
    • Participate in scoping, estimating efforts, and developing milestone plans and key deliverables.
    • Develop an OMS strategy that aligns with client goals and objectives.
    • Drive solution architecture and design to ensure efficiency, reusability, and customization.
    • Makes critical technical decisions to meet client expectations and provide thought leadership on technical matters.
    • Define best practices and standards for code review processes and perform code reviews for customizations.
    • Ensure the team maintains high technical competence and provides regular skill-building opportunities.
    • Contribute to white papers, blogs, case studies, e-books, and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.
    • Support Presales and Practice activities, including POC development and accelerators.
    • Monitor and optimize OMS performance for peak loads, low latency, and seamless user experience.
    • Lead OMS integration with ERP, CRM, WMS, payment gateways, and e-commerce platforms.
    • Customize the OMS platform to meet specific business needs, including order workflows, payment processing, shipping rules, inventory management, order routing, returns, and exchanges.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • 12+ years of experience in OMS (IBM Sterling, Kibo, Salesforce OMS, Deck Commerce, etc.) and Java/J2EE, JavaScript, XML, XSLT.
    • Mandatory experience in IBM Sterling.
    • Proficiency with web services (REST & SOAP).
    • Strong experience in designing medium to large enterprise applications.
    • Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, RabbitMQ, JMS).
    • Exposure to Authentication, Authorization, SSO using JWT, OAuth, SAML.
    • Experience in Pre-Sales, defining end-to-end solution architecture, and driving proposals.
    • Retail and E-commerce domain experience is required.
    • Experience in code refactoring and performance tuning.
    • Proficiency in Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, and clean code principles.
    • Client-facing experience in matrix organizations and onsite-offshore models.
    • Experience with estimation techniques (Use-case, FP, Story points).
    • Ability to create presentations and demos for customers and management.
    • Mandatory experience in Agile methodologies.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Experience in Practice activities like POC development, accelerators, tools/framework evaluation, and marketing contributions.
