Airside Manager - Gujranwala Division - dnata Airport Services

Job Summary:

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a terminal, managing airside staff, and coordinating with airlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the full spectrum of Airside operations, including departure and arrival handling, cargo transfer, baggage services, and aircraft interior cleaning.

• Supervise a team of Duty Managers on shift duties and airside staff.

• Serve as the point of escalation for Duty Managers and other teams in assigned terminals.

• Coordinate airline accounts, engage with Station Managers, and ensure prompt issue resolution.

• Attend regular meetings with airlines, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

• Collaborate with CAAS and CAG on issues involving airlines.

• Prepare and lead airline audits, coordinate system trials, and facilitate terminal moves.

• Monitor daily shift reports, resolve follow-up items, and ensure Duty Managers report incidents.

• Work with Resource Planning and Human Resources to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Ensure all staff are current in mandatory certifications and develop, appraise, and discipline teams.

• Perform additional duties assigned by the Head of Airside.

Requirements:

• Possess a degree or higher from a recognized institution, or equivalent experience.

• At least 5 years of experience managing operations at an airline or ground handling company.

• Willingness to perform shift duties, hold a company-issued mobile phone, and respond to escalations.

• Ability to lead large teams, make sound decisions in crises, and work in a high-stress environment.
