    Assistant Manager Operations

    Job Title: Assistant Manager Purchase

    Job Description:

    1. Determine and recommend optimal vendor commodities and services to ensure lowest total cost, best quality, and service are met.
    2. Research and identify potential products, practices, and services that can reduce operational costs.
    3. Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure alignment with technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
    4. Process requisitions, issue purchase orders to registered vendors, and approve ordering and distribution of purchase orders.
    5. Manage open purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, receiving items in the company warehouse, and investigating received items with damage or quality issues.
    6. Oversee daily operational purchasing needs, including planning, issuing, and following up on acceptance orders, purchase order delivery, and shipment schedules.
    7. Maintain positive vendor relations to achieve maximum cost savings, optimal performance, and quality standards.
    8. Perform assigned responsibilities, duties, and tasks according to established practices, procedures, techniques, and standards in a safe manner with minimal supervision.
    9. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and best prices, ensuring all criteria are met according to organizational requirements and expectations.
    10. Gain hands-on experience with purchase module and GL module in software applications.
    11. Import experience is advantageous.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
