    Description

    Assistant Manager (Electronics Showroom)

    The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting showroom business objectives by achieving monthly and annual sales and merchandise category budgets. They will also oversee all showroom sales & performance dashboards and reports as required by management.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Conduct daily floor walks and team meetings to discuss showroom achievements, individual performance, sales & customer service trainings, product knowledge, and company information.
    • Respond to customer complaints and comments, and identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers.
    • Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understand forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitor what local competitors are doing.
    • Implement sales promotions and product display plans, analyze their success rate, and suggest future promotions.

    Team Management

    • Attend and chair meetings, ensure consistent staff performance by coaching, counseling, disciplining, planning, monitoring, and appraising performance results.
    • Oversee Cashier's activities, including daily cash/credit reconciliation, bank deposits, down payments, and sales orders.
    • Oversee Store Keeper's activities related to showroom inventory management, stock control, and pilferage control.

    Requirements

    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Selling skills.
    • Target-oriented.
    • Experience in the Electronics Industry is preferred.
