    Description

    Manager Strategy & Investment

    The Manager Strategy & Investment is responsible for engaging with key stakeholders to deliver on the overall strategy, planning and direction of the Digital Financial Services (DFS) division.

    This role reports directly to the Head of Strategy & Growth and has one person reporting directly into it, with an extended team of six members.

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Lead and support in the annual strategy cycle through strategy workshops, stakeholder alignment, strategy paper formulation and presentations.
    2. Articulate business strategy through clearly defined goals and KPIs, monitoring KPI infrastructure to facilitate analysis and reporting of performance against strategic objectives.
    3. Conduct periodic strategy reviews and provide recommendations for improvements to existing business strategy.
    4. Communicate strategy and updates to the organization at large.
    5. Develop strategy and investment projects presentations for management as required.
    6. Assess existing markets, financial and ancillary markets, and macro-economic trends, making recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats and viability of outside business partners.
    7. Liaise with group queries after alignment with internal stakeholders.
    8. Collaborate with industry specialists and research entities.

    Requirements

    1. 5-8 years' work experience in strategy, commercial or finance, preferably within Fintech.
    2. MBA or Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university.
    3. A self-driven and intellectually curious individual able to carry out impactful discussions with senior stakeholders influencing strategic priorities.
    4. Analytical thinking and reasoning.
    5. Excellent report writing, presentation composition and delivery skills.
    6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
