    Nurse Instructor (Part Time)

    Job Summary:

    The Aga Khan University Hospital is a not-for-profit healthcare institute offering comprehensive medical services under one roof. Our network includes 4 secondary care hospitals, 30+ Medical Centres, and over 290+ Clinical Laboratories across Pakistan. We provide Zakat for eligible patients and generous Patient Welfare to support those in financial need.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess the learning needs of orientees/trainees during courses and traineeship.
    • Develop and conduct orientation programmes, training courses, basic skills training, in-service education, and sessions for nursing employees.
    • Plan, develop, and organize programmes, courses, workshops to meet broad nursing needs and Institutional patient care objectives.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of individual and group learning.
    • Ensure that educational programmes are congruent with Organizational goals.
    • Demonstrate sound theoretical and practical knowledge related to the adult teaching-learning process.

    Requirements:

    • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school.
    • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience as a Registered Nurse.
    • Valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council.
    • Certified in BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP (Provider/Instructor).
    • Minimum two years of clinical teaching experience.
    • Possess competencies to impart skills and knowledge to the audience.
    • In-depth knowledge of nursing policies and processes.
    • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
