MScN, MBA in Healthcare Management or Diploma in Hospital Management

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to provide operational oversight and leadership in nursing services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and interpreting nursing policies and procedures, evaluating nursing activities and resources, and ensuring compliance with clinical patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and objectives
Evaluate nursing activities and resources to ensure optimal patient care and efficient resource utilization
Coordinate and direct daily activities of the nursing team to ensure optimum patient care and compliance with established policies and procedures
Recommend fiscal planning and budgetary controls to ensure effective resource allocation
Cultivate exemplary customer service and promote effective communication skills among team members
Support nursing units to ensure efficient operation and maintain detailed knowledge of each unit's status
Plan, schedule, and organize work for the group to ensure proper distribution and delegation of assignments and efficient utilization of personnel and resources
Collaborate with other departments to participate in meetings, task forces, committees, and special projects
Develop and implement education/training programs to monitor current competence and increase knowledge of pertinent new developments in patient care
Manage Human Resources activities including staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and termination when necessary
Develop and monitor an internal feedback and complaint mechanism to assess compliance with quality/standard procedures and take necessary steps for improvement
Participate in planning, directing, monitoring, and evaluating staff performance and patient care

Requirements

A minimum of MScN, MBA in Healthcare Management or Diploma in Hospital Management degree is required. Proven experience in a similar role with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills is essential.

Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum based on experience
