    Job Description:

    We are in search of an experienced professional to join us as the Government Liaison Manager. The perfect fit for this role will be someone who has recently concluded an illustrious military career as a Major, Colonel, or Brigadier, and possesses extensive expertise in government relations and public affairs.

    As the Government Liaison Manager, your main duty will involve nurturing positive connections with government agencies and officials at various levels including local, state, and federal.

    You will act as the primary intermediary between our organization and government bodies, advocating for our interests and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and policies.

    Moreover, you will offer strategic counsel to the senior management regarding government-related issues and play a part in crafting and executing government relations strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establish and uphold robust relationships with government agencies and officials.
    • Track legislative and regulatory changes that could affect our organization.
    • Represent our organization in discussions, hearings, and other interactions with government stakeholders.
    • Guide senior management on government relations tactics, as well as potential risks and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee conformity with government stipulations and demands.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and top practices in government relations and public affairs.

    Qualifications:

    • Retired Major, Colonel, or Brigadier from the military, with a preference for experience in government relations or public affairs.
    • Thorough comprehension of government processes and protocols at local, state, and federal levels.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to establish rapport with diverse stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated capability to think strategically and offer sound advice to senior leadership.
    • Capability to function both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
    • Adaptability to adjust to evolving priorities and deadlines.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree is advantageous.
