Job summary

Lead the end-to-end product development process for female eastern apparel. Research market trends, customer preferences, and competitor products to guide collection development. Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize seasonal ranges, ensuring innovation and brand alignment. Source and select fabrics, trims, and accessories, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Oversee the sample development process, ensuring timely execution and alignment with design concepts. Review fits, styling, and finishing for all samples, making recommendations for improvements. Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure smooth transition from development to bulk production. Maintain development timelines and track progress to ensure on-time collection launches. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product developers and designers. Ensure adherence to brand quality standards and pricing strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
  • 5+ years of product development experience in the retail fashion industry, specifically in female eastern wear.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
  • Proven ability to translate fashion trends into commercially successful products.
