    Description

    Warehouse Operations Manager

    Maintains the smooth flow of receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs and operational procedures to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

    Safety and Security

    Ensures the safety and security of warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring effective security protocols and procedures.

    Inventory Control

    Manages inventory levels by conducting regular physical counts and reconciling them with the data storage system to prevent discrepancies and losses.

    Maintenance and Improvements

    Plans and implements new design layouts for the warehouse, inspects equipment, and issues work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement to maintain a high level of physical condition.

    Financial Management

    Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions to optimize resource allocation.

    Human Resources

    Manages warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

    Professional Development

    Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

    This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field, and be able to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field
