Job Duties:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Take charge of planning, carrying out, and completing Internal Audits of business processes.
• Conduct initial meetings with the auditees.
• Gain a deep understanding of the business processes under review for audits and document them using flowcharts and process narratives where necessary.
• Construct Risk & Control Assessment Matrix for different business processes.
• Create a risk-centered audit program and conduct on-site work in line with the approved plan.
• Assess the adequacy of process design and the efficiency of controls in achieving business and control goals.
• Conduct fieldwork to identify control deficiencies, process inefficiencies, and deviations from relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Suggest practical and value-enhancing recommendations to tackle control deficiencies and process inefficiencies.
• Hold closing meetings with auditees upon completion of fieldwork.
• Prepare clear and informative audit points/ issue sheets to effectively convey the findings, review potential observations with auditees, and compile internal audit reports.

Other Responsibilities

• Contribute to safeguarding corporate assets and ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Build and nurture professional relationships with staff at all levels, including Senior Management.

Requirements:

• ACCA / CA Part Qualified
• Completed Articleship from a reputable firm specializing in advisory/consultancy services, having worked extensively on internal audits.
• Recently completed Articleship.
