    Description

    Job Title: Unit Head - Capital Market Operations

    A permanent role that requires a strong background in business, finance or a related field.

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant roles.
    • Excellent knowledge of treasury products and banking instruments.
    • Sound understanding of capital market regulations and reporting requirements.
    • Strong team building and leadership skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel.

    • Timely and accurate settlement of transactions with proper accounting and reconciliation.
    • Settlement of margin trading system trades within time frames to avoid expenses and image loss.
    • Compliance with regulatory authorities' rules and regulations.
    • Internal and external stakeholder coordination and management.
    • Facilitation of auditor assistance and review of internal policies.
    • Balance system position compliance with bank's core system on a daily basis.
    • Review, update, and development of SOP as needed.
    • Coordination with brokers, CDC, NCCPL, dealing room, finance, and other stakeholders.
    • Compliance with PSX/SECP/SBP/CDC/NCCPL rules and regulations.
    • Backup for FX & MM operations desk in absence of unit heads.
    • Maintenance of HOD updated regarding departmental matters.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.

    Salary:

    $80,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience.
