Job Title: Medical Coding Specialist

This is an entry-level position based in our Gujranwala office at PRG Pakistan. We are seeking motivated individuals eager to start their professional journey and contribute to a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Extract relevant information from patient records.
2. Examine documents for missing information.
3. Assign CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and ASA codes.
4. Assign APC and DRG codes.
5. Ensure documents are grammatically correct and free from typing errors.
6. Perform chart audits.
7. Advise and train physicians and staff on medical coding as needed.
8. Inform supervisor of issues with equipment and computer programs.
9. Maintain compliance with medical coding policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Must be based in Gujranwala.
• Must have graduated from a certified university with a medical background.
• Should possess strong English speaking, writing, and listening skills.
