We are seeking an experienced and skilled Product Owner to enhance our dynamic team. As a crucial member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the vision, development, and implementation of our payment processing solutions within the sports industry. Your understanding of our clients needs will be vital in ensuring the security, functionality, and user-friendliness of our products. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that adhere to industry standards and exceed customer expectations. Expertise in PCI compliance and payment systems is preferred.

Define and articulate the product vision specifically for payment processing solutions within the sports industry, ensuring the product aligns with PCI compliance and industry standards.

Manage and prioritize the product backlog with a focus on enhancing payment features, security measures, and user experience for sports facilities.

Work closely with Agile development teams to implement payment processing features, overseeing the integration of secure payment technologies and compliance with PCI DSS.

Serve as the primary liaison between payment processors, compliance auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and adherence to payment security standards.

Facilitate Scrum events to ensure a smooth workflow and timely delivery of payment-related features, focusing on scalability and security in line with sports industry needs.

Conduct market research and gather feedback from sports facility managers and users to understand their payment processing requirements and pain points.

Develop user stories and acceptance criteria specifically tailored to secure and efficient payment transactions within the sports sector.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure that the payment interface is intuitive and meets the high standards expected by sports facility users.

Monitor emerging trends in payment technologies and compliance regulations, adapting product strategies to maintain and enhance competitive edge and security.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

You are a seasoned Product Owner who employs user-oriented thinking, and youre passionate about delivering meaningful solutions to complex problems. While you focus on ensuring the functionality, security, and compliance of our products, you do so with the end user in mind. You excel in strategic planning, possess excellent communication skills, and are adept at working under pressure. With a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of security requirements, youre always looking for ways to improve processes and solutions.

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, with a specific focus on payment processing systems and compliance with PCI standards in the sports industry.

Certified Product Owner with proven expertise in Agile methodologies and product management best practices.

Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex payment systems and compliance issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate changes in payment technologies and compliance regulations.

Highly collaborative, with experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet rigorous standards for security and efficiency.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities, adept at identifying and resolving issues proactively to prevent impact on the customer experience and compliance.
